Our moms Salsa Macha is affectionaltly known as Salsa Mata Grin*os. The story goes as follows. Moms loves to make her signature Salsa Macha which is made with toasted Chile De Arbol, Chile Guajillo, and Chile Habanero, lots of garlic.
Given the Nickname Salsa Mata Grin*os by a longtime customer who was blond haired blue eyed gentleman. He insisted we keep it on the menu. Since then all our customers have known it as such.
Starting with soft hint of heat, followed by earthy flavors mom’s salsa transforms into warm embers that eventually turns on the heat! complimented with garlic and oregano, moms salsa keeps you wanting more!
